REACHing Out

REACH Mentoring Club

During the school year we meet monthly at a local church to spend time with the girls. We focus on a different theme each year and teach character and faith based lessons, life skills, make crafts, learn new skills, all while having lots of fun together. Our volunteers I think have as much fun as our girls since we have such sweet times together.

Reaching Out Mentoring club meets monthly.

The club is led by REACH Mentoring Ministry founder Susan Stem, RN & special guests. We are delighted to answer any questions you may have.

Check out our Events page to see what God has been doing through us!

Summer Day Camp

We meet throughout the summer with day camp activities.  Each year we have a different theme with character and faith based lessons for these youths.   Our goal is to HAVE LOTS OF FUN while building relationships by providing positive role models and letting them know how special and loved they are.

How exciting to share how the same God that created us created everything around us. Here is how you can be a part of this amazing adventure:

* Pray for open hearts & minds as we dive into His Word
* Pray for safety & favor
* Snacks
* Lunches
* Crafts

Emergency Support

REACH helps support urgent needs of foster children and youth. Whether it's to help in an emergency, providing hygiene bags or connecting them with resources in their community, we aim to provide critical help in times of crisis in Jesus’ name.

Aged-Out Housing Needs

REACH helps connect aged-out foster and at-risk youth with temporary housing needs to help them  avoid homelessness. We currently have a partnership for an apartment and pray for more housing to help youth in these high-risk situations.

Mentoring Club

Throughout most of the school year, our mentoring club met once a week for fellowship, character-building, and fun! Because of gracious donors in the community, we  provide snacks and occasional special meals during our meeting time. The young ladies learn about the power of our words, friendship, and plants, all while learning about how God created each of us and loves us.

Blessing Foster Grads

REACH regularly provides gift bags to Johnston County grads that include gift cards and essential items.

Ministering at Children's Homes

We minister to youth at the various children’s homes in our region. We have a devotion, interactive games, snacks and goodie bags.
God bless you for your continued support!
Keep up with us on our Facebook page for current events and ministry opportunities.
