REACH Mentoring Ministry hosts a variety of events and clubs that nurture faith, character, and life skills in young women through fun, engaging activities. During the school year, the REACH Mentoring Club meets monthly to explore themed lessons, make crafts, enjoy snacks, and learn from special guests, while summer brings exciting day camps filled with relationship-building and spiritual growth. In addition, REACH supports foster youth through emergency aid, housing assistance, graduation gifts, and ministry outreach at local children’s homes—sharing God’s love in both practical and heartfelt ways.
Year-Round Mentoring Throughout most of the school year, our mentoring club met once a week for fellowship, character-building, and fun! Because of gracious donors in the community, we could provide snacks and occasional special meals during our meeting time. The young ladies learned about the power of our words, friendship, and plants, all while learning about how God created each of us and loves us.
Graduation Gifts for Foster Youth Johnston County had a number of youth in the foster system graduate this past month. How awesome! REACH was able to, with the help of some amazing donors, to create 30 graduation giftbags for these graduates!
Falcon Children's Home Ministry We had the opportunity to spend time ministering to the older youth at Falcon Children's Home. We had a devotion, interactive games, and some yummy snacks. As they left, they each took goodie bags and cookies to enjoy later. The younger children that were not in attendance were given Easter bags full of goodies and snacks,
REACH can not thank Falcon enough for allowing us to come in and minister to these children; it was a blessing for us!
A big THANK YOU to our volunteers and those who donated snacks and supplies for the event and Easter bags.
